lifesong
Lead me Lord, lead me by the hand
And make me face the rising sun
Comfort me through all the pain
That life may bring
There's no other hope
That I can lean upon
Lead me Lord
Lead me all my life
Walk by me, walk by me across
The lonely road that I may face
Take my arms and let your hadn
Show me the way
Show the way to live inside your heart
All my days, all my life
You are my light
You're the lamb upon my feet
All the time my Lord
I need You there
You are my light I cannot live alone
Let me stay
By Your guiding love
All through my life
Lead me Lord
Lead me Lord
Even though at times
I'd rather go alone my way
Help me take the right direction
Take Your road Lead me Lord
And never leave my side
All my days
All my life
You are my light
You're the lamb upon my feet
All the time my Lord
I need You there
You are my light I cannot live alone
Let me stay By Your guiding love
All through my life
All through my days
Lead me, Oh Lord
Lead me Lord

tho this movie isn't a factual, solid account of the events and people it talked about, the Queen did revolve around true stories. it talked about how the constitution handled the death of the People's Princess, Diana. i aim to be no spoiler so this will be painted very vaguely. there's a constant struggle between the traditional and modernist. how can one woman who grew up being the Queen change or bend, much more so, to the ever changing environment outside her palace? this film showed her as someone reachable, more humane. like seeing a fortress weep for its slowly hammered walls but still remains strong for a higher purpose she dedicated her life into. i give it a 4 out of 5 stars. by the by, i adored the start of the film.
Portrait Artist: You may not be allowed to vote, ma'am, but it is your government.
Queen Elizabeth II: Yes. I suppose that is some consolation.
before the movie, we heard mass and i praise God for His Awesome Powers that He let me finish the mass awake. hehehe. i almost didn't feel my head drooping until Kuya nudged me. the second reading was my favorite. 1 Cor 13. the homily was especially touching. i roughly quote, "God is shown in the way we love." the offeratory song was nostalgic.. "Yahweh, i know You are near. Standing always at my side. You guard me from my foes and You lead me in ways everlasting.." Amen. it was a glorious morning. :) after that we went to Super Wal-mart for groceries and knowing i had money in my hands, started to look around for likely things i would buy. first stop, toys! i was looking for the Am version of hulahoops! haha. sadly, they don't have them there. so maybe i'll just look for it somewhere else. then i found this cool zodiac 1000 pieces puzzle! got it immediately! couldn't wait to finish it and put it in a frame even before i bought it! haha. for next time: an image of the spirits of the native americans. (with their animal spirits and everything. i couldn't even come near to describing it but just looking at it amazes me.) we looked around for a book light that i needed for my reading when i stumbled upon one of my paradiso. the candles, vases, flowers and fragance aisle. weee! i got this fresh cotton smelling potpourri. i think one of my heavens will smell like that. it was subtle and soft like a baby on clouds. then i bought a vase for my potpourri. :) looking around, we saw a collection of relaxing cds. the ones compiled for spa and peaceful-soaks-in-the-tub uses. i wanted to buy all of them due to the insane fact that i can't dl anymore cause piracy sucks here! ngargh. but i composed myself and thought, 'i just needed one today. i can get it next time when i have more money.' and guess what? it worked. haha. i bought classical music for reading. love it. :) more to come: spirit dreams (with a clear american indian sound to it. i can almost imagine teepees in the horizon.), piano classics, salsa, peaceful soaks, and dreamsurf (with the sound of the ocean waves.)
i slept all the way home except when they woke me to see the lake frozen up. then we kept on talking about the things we'd do if we walked on it and then hear the ice below our feet creak. and knowing that people die or become sick due to falling in thin ice, would we still want to walk on it? i said i would! :D it's okay to fall in. one thing i'm scared of is when i fall in, i sink below and when i try to reach the surface i find the hole i slipped into already covered in ice.. and then i'm trapped. the end of an era. hehe. :P
and oh yeah! got scrubs 4th season! yipee! now i can start watching the last cd of the 3rd season. :)
all in all, i'm content.
i see You in Nature, in the Heavens on the Earth and beyond the Horizon. thank you, Lord! :)
